Classes - CrossFit 519

CrossFit

This one-hour group class allows participants to work in a positive, and welcoming atmosphere. Classes are lead by our knowledgeable expert coaches from warm-up, training, and recovery.

  • Mobility drills for increased joint and mobility performance
  • Warm-ups that prepare you for the workouts
  • The WOD (Workout of the day) – consisting of running, jumping, throwing, weightlifting, gymnastics, plyometrics, and more, performed in variations
  • Post-workout techniques to prevent injury and improve recovery

Exclusive coaching works for athletes of any level. Designed to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be, exclusive coaching focuses on your strengths and weakness to help you on the road to elite fitness. From athletes coming back from a long layoff to the athlete looking to compete in any realm of sport, this program gets you where you want to go.

Programs are custom built for each athlete and include:

  • Initial assessment
  • Skill Warm-Ups
  • Strength Training
  • Conditioning
  • Recovery
  • Nutrition Counseling
  • Progress Assessments

Foundation F-101

If you are new to CrossFit, you will need to complete our foundations program before obtaining a CrossFit519 Membership.

These foundation classes will teach you all the basic movements that are needed to participate in our Elite Classes.  Foundations will give you a better understanding of CrossFit standards and explain the scaled movements that makeup a CrossFit WOD.

The class will involve:

Squats, Pressing Movements, Olympic Lifting, Gymnastics, and much more.

Open Gym-Coach Led

Open Gym

This one-hour group class allows participants to work in a positive, and welcoming atmosphere. Classes are lead by our knowledgeable expert coaches from warm-up, training, and recovery.  A movement is picked and conducted on Tuesdays for a strength block and an Olympic lifting barbell class begins each Thursday morning. Following both of these programs on Tuesday and Thursday, is  a structured Metcon WOD.

  • Warm-ups that prepare you for the workouts
  • The WOD (Workout of the day) – consisting of running, jumping, throwing, weightlifting, gymnastics, plyometrics, and more, performed in variations
  • Post-workout techniques to prevent injury and improve recovery

Express

Express  –  Our express class is for anyone who is short on time or needs to come during their lunch. In this class, the WOD is done first, then the Skill afterward, which is optional for anyone that would like to participate.
